On Monday, December 16, 2019 the Sand Creek Board of Education unanimously approved new school calendars for the 2020-21 & 2021-22 school years that call for a two-weeks before Labor Day start to the school year and an earlier end to the school year. Essentially, these newly adopted school calendars move eight (8) school days from after Memorial Day to 8 school days before Labor Day. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who provided our school district with their direct feedback on this specific matter. Without that support, these changes would not have been made. Below are the newly adopted school calendars for each of the next two school years. Caution – The posted date for the last day of school is subject to change based on the possibility of the school district having to make up any snow days that are not forgiven by the State of Michigan.
