School is out, but our hope at Ruth McGregor Elementary is that the learning does not stop! We will be offering some wonderful opportunities for students to have fun this summer while continuing to learn! Please contact our office at 517-436-3121 to register your child for the Summer Learning Club. You do not have to register ahead of time for the Summer Literacy Pop Ups; however, we just ask that a parent or adult attend with your child at the Summer Literacy Pop Ups. Students will be doing science labs, writing, maker space, art, read alouds and receiving free items for attending! Please note that breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to anyone 18 & under. Adults may also eat for $2.50.

We had a great end to our 2018-2019 school year! We thank you for partnering with us to insure the greatest success for your child! We are already planning, preparing and looking forward to your children returning in the fall! We would love to increase the number of Lunch Buddies this next school year. Please consider volunteering just one time a week for 30 minutes! It may seem like a small amount of time; however, the impact it makes on our students is amazing! Our Lunch Buddy program is available to students who need a little extra one on one attention. The student is paired up with you and you spend their lunchtime getting to know them, playing board games, talking, and just being a positive role model in their lives. You get to choose the day that works best for your schedule. Please consider helping one of our students this next school year. Feel free to contact our elementary office if you would like to sign up.
