The 8th grade boys basketball team defeated the Eagles in convincing fashion, 41 – 15. The Aggies led from start to finish as many players contributed in the scoring column. Highlighting the scoring efforts was Josiah Schoonover who was credited in the box score for calmly sinking a free throw in the forth quarter.

The varsity boys started the season off with a big win against Reading. Final score was 56-53. The guys shot well from the free throw line and made it there frequently with 36 FT attempts. The game was up and down with SC jumping out to a 9 point lead in the first quarter. After half time the rangers charged back eventually taking a 3 point lead in the 3rd. The Aggies would not be denied and quickly took the lead back in the 4th and never relinquished it again. Gavin Eack led the Aggies in points with 16 and also in rebounds with 7. Grady Hazelwood had a solid performance with 12 points. The Aggies take on Hudson for their home opener on Friday night.

All 6 players scored for the Aggies. Kolton Shadewald and Bryce North scored in the double digits while Mason Carmody and Benji Kay each chipped in 9 and 6 points respectively.
The 8th grade boys basketball team fought hard to the end against a very good Lenawee Christian team as they were defeated by the Cougars, 38 - 31. The Aggies got out to a great start, but were not able to sustain their lead. Leading in scoring were Brady Williams with 14 pts and Emerson Walsh with 9.


The 7th grade boys basketball team hosted Britton-Deerfield on Wednesday. The boys played well but ultimately came up short against the Tories losing the game 40-29. Kolton Shadewald had a career night with 18 points and Bryce North chipped in 6 for the Aggies.
The 8th grade boys basketball team won in commanding fashion, beating the Wildcats of Pittsford 44 – 22. The Aggies got out and ran early and often led by Treyden Disbrow pushing the ball and controlling the tempo of the game. Three different players were in double digits scoring led by Emerson Walsh with 13pts, Clayton Jones with 11pts, and Brady Williams with 10pts. Defensively, Patrick Alexander made many steals and deflections which led to transition opportunities.

Every Friday our playground supervisors will be picking a King and a Queen from each grade level. Supervisors will be watching for students who show PBIS and 1SC on the playground.
