On Saturday Erin Alexander competed in the pole vault at the MHSAA Division 3 Track Meet @ Kent City High School. Erin had her 2nd best vault of the year and finished in 13th place out of 31 vaulters. Great job Erin!

The Lady Aggies completed their softball season with an 11 to 5 loss to Hudson in the district semi-final. Offensively, Maddie Osburn led the Aggies with 3 hits and 2 RBI’s. Lily Hawkins added 2 hits and a run scored and Sydney Marks added a double and a run scored. Thank you ladies from the coaching staff for a memorable and fun season. And we wish our 3 seniors Maddie, Makenna and Carley much success in the future.

The guys ended the year at the MHSAA Golf Regionals today. As a team we finished 13th overall out of 18 teams. There were a total of 79 golfers in Region 22 and the Aggies finished individually as follows: Jonathan Fisher finished 38th with a score of 98 Cole Scharer finished 51st with a score of 103 Calen Czerniejewski and Noah Hassenzahl tied for 61st with a score of 109 Jordan Hassenzahl finished 73rd with a score of 119 Good season and Go Aggies!!!

Varsity Baseball Recap Sand Creek 5 Lenawee Christian 3 Ivan Wilkinson got the win on the mound pitching 6 innings with 11 strikeouts. Offensively Carter Bettcher had 2 hits Andon Sutherland added 2 RBIs Jared Snyder added a RBI Sand Creek finished the TCC 8-4 good for 2nd place Sand Creek 14 Camden Frontier 4 Reid Hulett got the win on the mound pitching 4 2/3 innings with 11 strikeouts Offensively Andon Sutherland was 4-5 with a double 3 runs scored and 2 RBIs Ivan Wilkinson was 3-3 with a double and 4 RBIs Carter Bettcher was 3-5 with a double and 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored Reid Hulett was 2-3 with a double and 4 RBIs Noah Czerniejewski had a double and 2 runs scored Dane Morrin had 2 runs scored Sand Creek is 14-15 on the season and play at Hudson Saturday at noon vs Blissfield in District play.

Wednesday, 5/21 The varsity baseball game scheduled to be played at Sand Creek vs. Whiteford tonight has been moved to Adrian College. The game will begin at 3:30.

Due to the weather forecast for Thursday, May 22, 2025; Commencement for the Class of 2025 will take place in the High School Gymnasium. Congratulations to the graduating class, and Go Aggies!

On Saturday the Varsity Boys & Girls Track teams competed at Regionals @ Madison. Erin Alexander was Regional Champion in the Pole Vault and will be competing at the MHSAA Individual Track Meet on Saturday, May 31 @ Kent City High School. The following athletes received All-Regional honors on Saturday. Varsity Baseball Recap Adrian Tournament Game 1 Madison 11 Sand Creek 1 Parker Strahan took the loss on the mound Offensively Ivan Wilkinson was 2-3 with a triple Parker Strahan had 3 walks and a run scored Tucker Hulett had 3 walks The Aggies left 11 runners on base Game 2 Adrian 13 Sand Creek 0 Reid Hulett took the loss on the mound Offensively Andon Sutherland 2-3 with a double Ivan Wilkinson added a double Noah Czerniejewski and Carter Bettcher each added a hit. The Aggies are now 12-12 on the season On Wednesday TCC leader Whiteford comes to town for a 4pm

The Lady Aggies won the Adrian Tournament by defeating Madison 6 to 3 in game 1 and Adrian 4 to 3 in game 2. In game one, Makenna Wheeler picked up the win in the circle giving up 3 runs ( 1 earned) on 9 hits with 6 strikeouts. Offensively, the Aggies scored 4 two out runs in the top of the 7th to take the lead. Maddie Osburn had 2 hits including a 2 run homerun. Makenna Wheeler added a hit and 2 RBI’s. Carley Allen had a hit and 1 RBI. Lily Hawkins and Sydney Marks scored 2 runs a piece. In game 2, Hawkins earned the win giving up 3 runs(1 earned) on 3 hits with 7 strikeouts. Offensively, Wheeler delivered the big hit with a 2 run homerun in the top of the 6th to give the Aggies a 1 run lead. Osburn and Jalyn Snyder added a hit and a run scored. Makayla Six added 2 RBIs.
