On Monday, January 5, the Varsity Girls Basketball team had an away against Hillsdale Will Carleton Academy. The Lady Aggies got off to a slow start in the 1st quarter, but outscored Will Carleton 27-7 in the next three quarters to take home the win. The Lady Aggies are now 3-2 on the season. Top scorers were Payton Steinke with 13 points, Maddy Trame with 8 points, Brielle Nichelson with 5 points, and Elise Wilkinson with 5 points. Top defensive performances were turned in by Toree Williams and Payton Steinke. Great job ladies!

The JV Lady Aggies were unable to slow down the Napoleon Pirates in yesterday’s matchup, falling by a score of 33–9. Napoleon knocked down seven three-pointers in the game, but the Aggies battled throughout from start to finish. Makayla Six and Raelynn Steinke led the team in scoring, while Isabella Salerno and Delaney Eack pulled down key rebounds for the Aggies. The Lady Aggies will look to bounce back on Thursday when they host the Erie Mason Eagles.

The varsity boys basketball team fell last night to BD, 59-61. Chase Voorhees led the charge for the guys last night, netting 21 points and 10 rebounds, that marks the team's first double double of the year. Andon Sutherland dropped 15 points. Both of these guys shot at very good clips shooting 90% and 62% respectively. The Aggies won every quarter but the third, charging late in the 4th to tighten the score board up but it would not be enough to get the win.
The JV boys basketball team improved to 2-1 in the TCC Tuesday with a win over Britton Deerfield 53-43. Gavin Voorhees led the aggies in scoring with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Caden Glinski added 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Brennen Bates had 7 steals and 5 assists to go along with 7 points. Jackson Sutherland also chipped in with 8 points.

On Saturday, January 3rd, the Aggies wrestling team competed at Southgate Anderson. The Aggies went 3-2 on the day placing 5th place out of 10 teams. The field included 8 Division 1 schools, and 1 Division 2 school. Going undefeated on the day were Nathan Bennett and Wyatt Fox.

The varsity girls wrestling team competed in Monroe last Friday night. The top performer on the night was Emma Pifer placing 4th with a record of 4-2.

The Aggies wrestling team went 2-3 on the day at the Fred Boss Memorial Duals @ Addison. Opening match, the Aggies broke an over decade-long losing streak to Addison. Going undefeated on the day were Wyatt Fox, AJ Murdico, and Noah Walters.

On Thursday, December 18, the Varsity Girls Basketball team played at home against Summerfield. The Lady Aggies played with great effort but fell to Summerfield by a score of 53-21. Leading scorers were Payton Steinke with 7 points and Brielle Nichelson with 6 points. Top defensive performances were turned in by Erin Alexander and Toree Williams.

The varsity Aggies' wrestling team avenged another loss from last season, while continuing the regular season rivalry with Reading. The Aggies were led with pins from 6 different wrestlers on the night, tallying a score of 42 to Reading’s 29. The Aggies compete on Saturday, in Addison, at the Fred Boss Memorial Invitational.

The Sand Creek JV Lady Aggies could not overcome a scoreless first quarter and were defeated by a talented Napoleon team, 23–14 on Tuesday night. The Aggies played tough on the defensive end, holding Napoleon to its lowest point total of the season, but struggled to find a rhythm offensively. Mckenzie Hammack knocked down a big three-pointer in the fourth quarter, but the Aggies did not have enough offense to close the gap. Tessa Benko led the team with four points, while Delaney Eack and Isabella Salerno turned in strong efforts on the defensive end.

On Monday, December 15, the Varsity Girls Basketball team played away against Addison. The Lady Aggies played solid full-court pressure defense throughout the game to defeat Addison by a score of 44-24. Erin Alexander led the Lady Aggies with 16 points, 7 steals, and 6 rebounds. Payton Steinke scored 12, and Elise Wilkinson scored 7. Brielle Nichelson and Maddy Trame played solid defense. Great team win ladies! The Lady Aggies are 2-1 on the season.
