Our junior high equestrian team competed Saturday in the D division at the Lenawee County Fairgrounds. The team consisted of Cooper Robinson and Lila Singleton.
The team won the Reserve Champion title for the D division along with the Sportsmanship award out of 14 teams! What an honor! Way to go girls for your hard work and sportsmanship attitudes!

Varsity Softball Recap
The Lady Aggies split a doubleheader with Springport, losing game one 8 to 7 and rebounding with a 15 to 6 win in the nightcap. In game one, offensively, Carley Allen had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s. Makenna Wheeler added a hit and 2 RBI’s. Maddie Osburn, Lily Hawkins and Jalyn Snyder all added hits. Hawkins took the tough luck loss as she gave up 8 runs but only 1 which was earned and had 4 strikeouts. In the 2nd game, Osburn was 3 for 5 with 2 RBI’s including a 2 run home run. Wheeler added 2 hits and 4 RBI’s. Snyder had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s. Makayla Six, Hawkins and Allen all added 2 hits a piece. Wheeler was the winner in the circle giving up 6 runs (4 earned) with 7 strikeouts.

Ivan Wilkinson pitched 5 1/3 innings with 9 strikeouts to get the win. Jared Snyder closed it out pitching 1 2/3 innings with 3 strikeouts Offensively Reid Hulett was 3-3 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs. Ivan Wilkinson was 2-3 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Tucker Hulett and Noah Czerniejewski came up big in the 7th inning with 2 singles and each with a RBI.
Game 2 was suspended due to weather
Sand Creek is 12-10 on the season (7-2 TCC) Sand Creek plays in the Adrian Invitational on Saturday playing Madison at 11am and Adrian at 1pm
The boys are TCC CHAMPS! Our middle school boys track team came in 1st place in the TCC Conference Championship meet scoring a total of 148 points!

The golf team got a win Friday against Hudson. The Aggies were led by Cole Scharer with a 43, Jonathan Fisher with a 47, Calen Czerniejewski with a 50, Austin Frey with a 54, Jordan Hassenzahl with a 55 and Aidan Walsh with a 64. Great job and go Aggies!

The Lady Aggies picked up two 15 to 0 wins over Pittsford. In game 1, Lily Hawkins pitched a perfect game giving up no hits, no walks along with 6 strikeouts over 4 innings. Offensively, Maddie Osburn had 3 hits and 4 RBI’s including a first inning 2 run home run. Sydney Marks added 1 hit, 4 runs scored and 3 RBI’s. Hawkins and Makayla Six added a hit and 2 runs scored and Emmy Maxson scored 3 Runs. In game 2, Makenna Wheeler pitched a 4 inning shutout, giving up 2 hits and striking out 7. Marks had 3 hits while Carley Allen had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s and Osburn had 2 hits and 2 runs scored. Wheeler and Hawkins added a hit and 2 runs scored apiece.

The Varsity Golf Team finished in second place at the TCC match at Woodlawn. The Aggies were led by Jonathan Fisher with a 42 followed by Cole Scharer with a 46. Calen Czerniejewski had a 49, Jordan Hassenzahl had a 50, Aidan Walsh a 53 and Austin Frey with a 62. Excellent job guys and Go Aggies!!!
Makenna Wheeler and Maddie Osburn each hit their 4th homerun of the season on Wednesday night vs. Erie Mason. Way to go, ladies!
