The JV boys basketball team dropped a game last night to the Summerfield Bulldogs. Final score 56-60. Leading every quarter but the last one the Bulldogs made a late charge to secure a narrow victory. A fast pace all night led to some mistakes down the stretch that piled up to prove too much to overcome. The JV boys record stands at 14-4 and still have four games remaining to take care of. Two of those games are against opponents that the JV guys have lost to and will be playing for redemption. Parker Strahan led us last night with 15 points followed by Landon Carmody with 13 points.

The Aggies varsity boys basketball team traveled to Summerfield for a league matchup with co leading Bulldogs on Tuesday evening. After a spirited first quarter the score found the Sand Creek team down 16-9 after one and down 11 at halftime by the score of 30-19. Summerfield came out in the second half hot hitting 70% of their shots and having scored 22 in the third quarter which was too much for the Aggies to come back from.
The team was lead by Rory Eack with 12 pts and Cole Scharer with 8 pts and 8 rebounds. Others contributing included Andon Sutherland with 7 points, Aidan Walsh with 7 rebounds and Ephraim Phillips with 5 assists.
The varsity team played with spirit and grit all night and we are proud that they played hard and never gave up.
Current record is 2-16 overall and 1-9 in league play. We are back to league play on Thursday night with Erie Mason coming in for a home tilt.
