Scheduling 2022-2023 school year
Scheduling will begin Monday February 7th in the student’s infinite campus portal, starting with 11th graders and ending with 8th graders. Please take this week to discuss with your student their choices for the upcoming school year so they are prepared to choose their classes when Ms. Slusher meets with their class. You can find the Jr./ Sr. High school Curriculum guide on the website.

We are experiencing an increasing number of Jr. High students not leaving the building at 2:50 pm and staying in the building (mostly on Jr. High game days, with the games not starting until 4:30 pm). This opens up the possibility of students being unsupervised and interrupting our cleaning and afternoon maintenance of our building. We are asking parents to help us clear out the building of students that do not have practices or are attending tutoring. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Attention Juniors & Seniors: Adrian College is hosting a job fair on March 18th. This is a great opportunity to network and meet area businesses!

Good afternoon,
This is Sharon Smith from Sand Creek Schools.
First of all, I would like to give a huge shout-out to all of our students, parents and teachers for the great effort today. We had great attendance today in all of our virtual classes!
I also wanted to inform you that Sand Creek Schools will be all-virtual again tomorrow, Friday January 14th. You should follow the same procedures as you did today. Going into the long weekend, this will give us 5 full days out of the school buildings to hopefully get our students that are currently home back to school. Reminder that Monday, January 17th is a scheduled holiday and therefore will not be a virtual day. We will be back face-to-face in our buildings on Tuesday, January 18th. All Sand Creek athletic contests and practices will also be cancelled through Sunday, January 16th.
We are also reviewing the new health department protocols and will be communicating out these changes later this weekend. You will receive a separate alert with any changes that may directly affect your student.
If students need any materials, contact your building office for pick-up procedure.

The Sand Creek Jr./Sr. High School Band will be traveling to Universal Orlando Resort from March 15-19, 2022. Here is the current copy of the itinerary: https://5il.co/14a4s

Attention Elementary Parents
Tomorrow, Thursday, January 13, 2022 Sand Creek Community Schools will be having a virtual school day for our elementary students due to our most recent positive Covid cases and additional close contact numbers.
Students at Ruth McGregor Elementary will be receiving communication from your child’s classroom teacher either from Google Classroom or an email sent from your child’s teacher letting your student know what time their live Google Meet will be held in the morning and also in the afternoon. It is mandatory for students to attend these live Google Meets. Students will need to attend both of these Google Meets to be considered present for both AM and PM attendance
Please check our website to review our elementary virtual learning plan for additional information. There will be NO preschool classes.
We appreciate your understanding during this time and look forward to seeing your child at their Google meetings tomorrow.
Have a good evening and Go Aggies!
