Good Evening Sand Creek parents and Staff. This is Steve Laundra, Superintendent of Schools, with an important school district announcement. Due to current COVID-19 staff shortages at our elementary school, the next three school days, including tomorrow, will be half-day mornings for our elementary F2F students. I repeat, tomorrow Thursday, January 27, Friday, January 28, and Monday February 1st will be half days in the morning for Ruth McGregor Elementary School students. School will be released at 11:45am on these three days. Bus transportation to and from school will be provided as it normally is on half-days. Virtual elementary students will continue on their normal schedules. These three half-day mornings are for the elementary school only. Elementary F2F students will not be required to attend school virtually on these afternoons. Our JH/HS F2F students are scheduled for full days on these three days. It is our sincere hope to back to full days at the elementary school beginning next Tuesday, February 2nd.
