The JH girls track team won against LCS and Morenci on Monday night. With a score of SC 77 vs LCS 14 & SC 56 vs Morenci 52. Top performers were Naomi Gust, Quinn Daniels, Aurora Krueger, Emma Davis and Lila Singleton.

Varsity softball The Lady Aggies lost a tough one against Madison 10 to 6. Leading the Aggies offensively was Sydney Marks with 3 hits, 3 runs scored and 2 RBI’s. Makenna Wheeler added 2 hits and 2 RBIs while Maddie Osburn added 2 hits and 1 RBI. Mckenzie Hammack added 1 hit and 2 runs scored.

Varsity baseball Adrian Madison 11 Sand Creek 4 Parker Strahan took the loss on the mound. As 4 pitchers got work tonight. Noah Czerniejewski threw 3 innings with 3 strikeouts. Caden Glinski threw 2 1/3 innings and Carter Bettcher threw an inning. Offensively Ivan Wilkinson was 1-2 with a home run 2 runs scored and 2 walks. Jackson Sutherland was 2-2 with a double and 1 RBI. Tucker Hulett had a double and an RBI. Sand Creek is 7-6 on the year

Ruth McGregor Elementary is CLOSED today due to a building issue. The Preschool Open House scheduled for tonight at 6pm is also canceled, but will be rescheduled for a later date.

On Friday the Varsity Boys & Girls Track teams competed at the Hinsdale Invitational @ Sand Creek. Several Aggies had their personal bests. Ruth McGregor Elementary is hosting their Preschool Open House on Tuesday, April 29th at 6:00 p.m.

Varsity Baseball Recap 4/23 Swanton, OH 7 Sand Creek 0 Caden Glinski took the loss on the mound pitching 4 innings. Reid Hulett, Jared Snyder, and Noah Czerniejewski all pitched a scoreless inning. Offensively Ivan Wilkinson was 2-3 with a double Jared Snyder and Carter Bettcher each had a hit. Sand Creek is 7-3 on the season and play at Hanover Horton with a DH starting at 4pm on Thursday.

On Saturday the Varsity Boys & Girls Track teams competed at the 15 team Ralph Crume Pittsford Invitational. The girls finished in 7th place and the boys in 10th place. Union City Baseball Tournament Sand Creek 11 Union City 10 What a game!!! Ivan Wilkinson with a walk off GRAND SLAM in the bottom of the 7th Caden Glinski got the win on the mound, pitching 3 innings giving up 0 runs. Parker Strahan started the game pitching 4 innings with 3 strikeouts with 0 walks Offensively Ivan Wilkinson was 3-4 with a HR and double and 6 RBIs. Andon Sutherland was 3-4 with 3 runs scored. Dane Morrin 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Parker Strahan was 2-3. Championship Game Marshall 11 Sand Creek 1 Andon Sutherland took the loss on the mound pitching 3 1/3 innings with 2 strikeouts. The lady Aggies' softball team picked up a couple of wins against Quincy yesterday in two 5 inning games. In game 1 the Aggies scored 2 in the bottom of the first and held on for a 2 to 1 win. Maddie Osburn and Makenna Wheeler scored the runs. Carley Allen and Erin Alexander had a hit a piece. Wheeler picked up the win in the circle giving up 1 run on 5 hits and 8 strikeouts. The Aggies escaped a one out bases loaded jam in the bottom of the 5th when Wheeler struck out the #3 hitter and Osburn picked off the runner at third. In game 2, Osburn led the Aggies offensively with 3 hits and 3 RBI’s. Lily Hawkins added a hit and scored 3 runs. Allen and Alexander added a hit and 2 runs a piece. Hawkins picked up the win going 4 innings with no runs and no hits and 7 strikeouts.

Softball The lady Aggies dropped a pair to Dundee on Thursday losing 6 to 0 in game 1 and 17 to 1 in game 2. The Aggies were held hitless in game 1. Makenna Wheeler had another strong outing on the mound giving up no earned runs and striking out 7. In game 2, the Aggies had hits from Maddie Osburn, Wheeler, Erin Alexander and Makayla Six. Alexander drove in Wheeler for the lone run and Six recorded her first varsity hit.

The Varsity Aggie Softball picked up two big wins against Morenci winning game one 3 to 2 and game two 7 to 2. In game one Maddie Osburn hit a two run home run to stake the Aggies to a 2 to 0 lead. But the big hit was Jalyn Snyder who hit a 2 out walk off single in the bottom of the 7th inning. Makenna Wheeler pitched a gem in the circle giving up 2 runs, 1 earned, on 5 hits and 15 strikeouts. In game 2, Snyder got the win in the circle give up 2 runs on 5 hits with 7 strikeouts. Offensively Wheeler was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, Carley Allen added 1 hit, 2 RBI’s and 2 runs scored. Erin Alexander and Maddie Osburn had 2 hits and 1 run scored a piece each. Alexander and Makayla Six had key catches in the outfield defensively.
