On Saturday, the boys varsity wrestling team competed in MHSAA Individual Districts at Dansville High School.
Advancing to the Regional Tournament for the Aggies are Nich Trame, taking 2nd place at 113, and Tucker Hulett, taking 4th place at 190. Well done, Aggies!

On Monday night the varsity girls basketball team played at Manchester. The game went back and forth the entire game with the Lagy Aggies winning by a score of 25-23. In the last minute of the game there were five lead changes with Payton Steinke making two clutch free throws with 3 seconds to play to seal the win. Faith Beardmore led the team in scoring with 12 points. Carley Allen was dominant on the boards with 14 rebounds. Solid all-around games were turned in by Mya Harvey and Emma Burns. Freshman Madalynn Trame and Makayla Six played big minutes off the bench. Great win ladies!

The junior high wrestling team wrestled at Manchester this past weekend. As a team the Aggies took 2nd out of 12 schools falling just short to Bedford in the finals 63-59.

The JV boys carved out another victory on Thursday night defeating SC's largest rival, the Morenci Bulldogs. The final score was 51-34. The boys were all go in the first half putting up 35 points in just 14 minutes of game time. Landon Carmody came to life last night besting his season high with 24 points while also ripping 5 steals. The team kept turnovers low and remained in single digits giving the ball away just 9 times all night. Parker Strahan marked a personal season high for rebounds in the contest pulling down 10 boards. The boys try and avenge a loss from earlier this season when they face Whiteford on Tuesday night at Sand Creek. With the season winding down there are only a few opportunities remaining to come support the hard work that the boys have put in, please joins us at 5:30 on Tuesday.

Going 2-0 on the night for the Aggies were Nich Trame at 120 and Tommy Shanks at 138.
The boy's varsity basketball team won a closely contested game against the Morenci Bulldogs on Parents' Night Thursday evening by the score of 47 - 44. The Aggies took a 10 point lead at halftime by playing great defense only to see Morenci battle back to take the lead late in the game by hitting some timely 3 point shots. With the score tied and 11 seconds left, the Senior Aggies called a timeout for a play to free up Andon Sutherland who hit a game winning 3 point shot at the buzzer to lift Sand Creek to the victory. The game featured Senior Rory Eack scoring his 1,000 point early in the 3rd quarter and he also lead the team in scoring with 28 points that featured him making 20 free throws. The Aggies were supported by Andon Sutherland with 8 points including the game winner, Caleb Luck added 6 points and 8 rebounds. This was an outstanding team win with the defense playing a key role in securing the victory along with only committing 8 turnovers.

Overall as a team the Aggies wrestled with great effort and grit.
The 7th Grade Girls basketball team improved their record to 2-1 with an overtime win at Britton Deerfield Wednesday night. Maddie Plank led the Aggies with 6 points. Cooper Robinson chipped in 4 points and Indica Steiner-Zehender scored 3 points in overtime to seal the victory.
The 8th grade team lost a highly competitive game with a score of 13-19. Brielle Nichelson was the high scorer with 7 points and Delaney Eack had 4 points. Allie Scharer pulled down some key rebounds as well. The Aggies next game is away on Monday against LCS.
