The Aggie Career and Counseling Center, in partnership with TLC, arranged for Sand Creek’s participation in a Financial Reality Fair today. Mr. Disbrow and Ms. Elliott attended with their Personal Finance classes. The reality fair simulates one month of independent adult living. Student choose a job, receive a starting salary, and are assigned a credit score. They then make spending decisions at the lifestyle stations led by credit union and community volunteers. They also learn to borrow and save from the credit union, balance their budget, and visit a financial counselor.

A very sweet time was shared this morning when the Young 5 & Kindergarten students came to give the Seniors a little gift with a letter of advice. Proud day to be an Aggie!
