Varsity softball
The Lady Aggies split a doubleheader with Blissfield, winning the first game 15 to 5 but losing the second 4 to 0. In game 1, Makenna Wheeler gave up 5 runs on 9 hits with 9 strikeouts. Offensively, Maddie Osburn was 3 for 5 with 4 RBI’s. Wheeler added 2 hits and 2 RBI’s. While Lily Hawkins added a hit and 3 runs scored. Sydney Marks scored 4 runs and Mckenzie Hammack, Makayla Six and Emmy Maxson all scored 2 runs a piece. In game 2, Marks and Six each had a hit.

The boys golf team competed in their TCC match at Erie Mason last night. The guys did pretty well since most of them have never golfed at the course we played at which is a difficult thing to do. The Aggies were led by Calen Czerniejewski with a 49 followed by Jonathan Fisher with a 50, Jordan Hassenzahl and Cole Scharer with 53, Noah Hassenzahl with a 54 and Caleb Luck with a 57.

The JV baseball game today will be held at Tecumseh High School with a start time of 4:00.

Tomorrow, Friday, March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day. World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated annually on March 21st to raise awareness and promote the rights, inclusion, and well-being of individuals with Down Syndrome, with the date chosen to symbolize the triplication of the 21st chromosome that causes the condition.
We encourage all students to wear blue and yellow mismatched socks tomorrow in honor of this!
