Below are the dates and time for the end of year Chromebook checkin/return.
YOUNG FIVES-5TH GRADE
Elementary Student Chromebook returns will be conducted the last week of school beginning on June 1st during their scheduled computer times that week. Please make sure your child comes to school with their Chromebook and charger each day. All elementary virtual students will need to drop off their Chromebooks on Friday June 4th between 12:15-3:15 p.m.
6th thru 11th GRADE
Face to Face Students in grades 6th to 11th grade will have the opportunity to return their Chromebooks on the following dates; Tuesday June 1st, Thursday June 3rd or Friday June 4th. Students must decide if they are taking exams and/or the last day that they plan on attending school.
Students must turn in their Chromebooks to their 8th hour teacher. To make this process operate as quickly and efficiently as possible, students will be required to have their Chromebook cases open and the fully charged Chromebook booted up to the login screen only – do not login.
We will be checking the device serial number against the one that was issued to each student at the beginning of the year, we will also be checking to ensure each device comes back with the case and power cord.
6th thru 11th grade Virtual Students Chromebook Check-In
Virtual students in grades 6th to 11th grade will have the opportunity to return their Chromebooks, Textbooks and all other school materials to the main office on Wednesday June 2nd thru Friday June 4th during regular school hours.
To make this process operate as quickly and efficiently as possible, students will be required to have their Chromebook cases open and the fully charged Chromebook booted up to the login screen only – do not login.
We will be checking the device serial number against the one that was issued to each student at the beginning of the year, we will also be checking to ensure each device comes back with the case and power cord.
SENIORS – 12TH GRADE
ALL Seniors (Face to Face and Virtual) will have the opportunity to return their Chromebooks on May 26th thru May 28th during regular school hours. Seniors may bring their Chromebooks to the High School Office for Check-In on either of these three days. To make this process operate as quickly and efficiently as possible, students will be required to have their Chromebook cases open and the fully charged Chromebook booted up to the login screen only – do not login. We will be checking the device serial number against the one that was issued to each student at the beginning of the year, we will also be checking to ensure each device comes back with the case and power cord.
It is vitally important that we receive all Chromebooks back before the week of June 7th so that Technology Staff can complete summertime processing before the start of summer school. Chromebook check-in will be treated as any other school-related debt and must be settled before graduation.
