Good evening Sand Creek Community Schools’ parents, students and employees. This is Steve Laundra with an important announcement regarding our Return to School plan for the upcoming school year.
At last night’s special school board meeting, the Sand Creek Board of Education unanimously approved my recommendation to offer Sand Creek students and parents’ two instructional learning choices for the 2020-21 school year. The choices include 1) a face to face model and 2) an on-line or virtual model.
The deadline for registering your students for one of these two instructional choices is next Tuesday, August 11th by noon. For more information regarding the details of choices, please visit our school website or Facebook page and look for the Learning Choice Commitment Form. In addition to the Commitment Form, we have also posted a document titled, Sand Creek Face to Face Safety Protocols.
It is imperative that we receive your student instructional learning choices by our August 11th deadline. Many of the details you’ve been waiting for are included in the documents mentioned in this alert. Please take the time to review these documents carefully before making your first semester decision.
