Good evening, Sand Creek. This is Mr. Laundra with a special announcement.
In an honest attempt to comply with Governor Whitmer’s recent executive order for K-12 education, we’re asking all parents to go to our school website or Facebook page to complete a short survey that revolves around internet access and technology devices available in your homes. Please help our cause be responding to this short survey ASAP. This data will help us make some of the tough decisions we need to make to implement an effective and meaningful plan for educating our students between now and the end of this school year. While Governor Whitmer has shut down K-12 face to face education for the remainder of this school year, she did not shut down education for the rest of the school year. Stay tuned as we begin to develop and launch an improved Alternative Education Plan for our beloved students.
Lastly, I appreciate your patience in regards to school related matters to this point, and I graciously ask that you continue to be patient. While there are still many unanswered questions, we hope to start getting you the answers in the near future. Our faculty and staff are committed to serving you to the best of our ability throughout these difficult times.
In closing, because we’re Sand Creek, it’s comforting to know that we will pull through these difficult times, and that we will eventually get back to Sand Creek Aggie business as usual.
