We encourage you to continue to access our school website and Facebook account for the latest updates pertaining to Sand Creek Community Schools.

Currently both school buildings are closed and off limits to students and most employee groups through April 5th.  This includes all school and club sports practices and contests as well as all extra-curricular activities and events.

Tomorrow’s school food service plan is providing pick-up services for meals from 7 am-9 am at the high school and from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm at the elementary.  This service is free to all children under the age of eighteen.  Either pick-up time frame or location can be used. This free food service is not limited to free and reduced lunch students, it is available to all K-12 students and children under the age of 18.

Tomorrow night’s board of education meeting will take place at 6pm in the Don Harlan Library at the high school as scheduled.A distance seating arrangement at the meeting will be encouraged.

Currently, our scheduled county-wide spring break remains intact for the week of April 6th-10th with school resuming on Monday, April 13th.  If the status of spring break changes, we will inform you asap.

The State of Michigan has yet to make any decisions regarding additional forgiven school days and extended school calendars.  As soon as we get this information, we will pass it on to all of our stakeholder groups.

The Sand Creek administration office will remain open Monday through Friday from 8 am – 2 pm the next three weeks. We would prefer you call the school as opposed to entering the building.

Our Maintenance, Custodial and Transportation departments will be planning and executing a deep clean plan for both school buildings, school buses and playground equipment over the next three weeks.
