SAND CREEK SCHOOL BOARD TO VOTE ON ADMINISTRATIVE TRANSITION PROPOSAL

The Sand Creek Community Schools Board of Education is currently considering an administrative transition proposal to address the school districts future needs due to Mr. Laundra’s recent announcement of his plan to retire at the end of the 2020-21 school year.  Essentially, Mr. Laundra has given the school district two years notice on his plan to retire on June 30, 2021.  The Sand Creek School Board Personnel/Salary Committee of Ken Leininger, Mike Reno and Nathan Adams have been working diligently on drafting an administrative transition proposal that addresses the future needs of the school district.  At Sand Creek’s February 17th school board meeting, the Personnel/Salary Committee officially presented their proposal to the rest of the school board and the public.  For your convenience, the PowerPoint presentation of the transition proposal is attached.  While the proposal was officially introduced at the February 17th school board meeting, it was not voted on.  That stated, this proposal will likely be voted on at our upcoming March 16th or April 20th school board meeting.
