Building & Site Fund

On behalf of the Board of Education, we are happy to announce that the 2000 Bond Millage rate will be reduced from 2.4 mills to 2.1 mills for the upcoming year.  The original millage rate was 2.9 mills.  This is due to an increase in the value of the taxable property in the school district.

In addition, the school board would like to thank voters for passing the .5 building and site millage renewal.  This will only be a net increase of .2 mills because of the decrease in the 2000 bond millage rate.

This .5 mill added to the 1.35 mills has allowed many improvements to be made.  One mill generated approximately $110,000.00.  The following is a summary of completed projects and those in progress.
